Lesson 2: using x11 to access cluster on mac os

I have spent a long time trying to figure out of using X11 or Xquartz to connect to cluster

 

It took me several hours to get this configure right.

 

in etc/ssh_config

 

set

 

ForwardAgent yes
ForwardX11 yes
ForwardX11Trusted yes

 

in etc/sshd_config

AllowAgentForwarding yes
AllowTcpForwarding yes

X11DisplayOffset 10
X11UseLocalhost yes

X11Forwarding yes

 

Then X11 starts to work!!
